The Corsair Craft is a Craft unlocked for the Hangar/Starport after the player researches Corsair. The Corsair Craft flies toward the enemy ship when launched during combat. The Corsair Craft is a fragile and fast Craft that fires mini EMP Missiles that bypass shields and can be dodged by ships that have an Engine equipped. The Corsair Craft can also be upgraded by continuing to research Corsair in the Laboratory.
Lockdown Paired With EMP [DPS/Support][Mid-End Game] +
Lockdown Paired With EMP is the most common combo players use for the Corsair Craft. The Corsair Craft makes locking down rooms much easier, especially if the Craft is high level. After the room is stunned, the Defender Craft is used to damage the stunned room. The most ideal launch pattern for this combo would be 4x Defender and 1x Corsair.
The Corsair Spam combo is also a combo for the Corsair Craft, although not as common. Since EMP Damage cannot damage rooms, this combo is more geared to support the player's weapon rooms. This usually means stunning important rooms like the Shield Generator, Teleport, Hangar, etc.
When To Use
Players often choose Firehawk Craft over Corsair Craft. This is mainly due to the fact that the EMP from the Corsair Missile doesn't last long enough to permanently stun a room. Coupled with the Craft's low HP and high cost, many players don't find much use for the Corsair Craft. Along with this, Corsair Missiles can be dodged if the enemy has an Engine equipped.
The AI equip command for the Corsair Craft is pretty simple. Remember to put the below AI equip command in the Hangar/Starport to automatically equip the Corsair Craft during combat.
