The Armor (Block) is one of the most vital rooms for defense in Pixel Starships. Armor takes up a 1x1 Space, is Indestructible, and serves as a barrier to your crew in regards to movement. Armor when placed, reduces system and hull damage done to the room on all 4 sides of it, not diagonal. This placement of armor is incredibly important as it can greatly increase your survival rate when done right.
So what does Armor really do? Well Armor reduces all damage done to the room it's protecting by a certain percentage. This includes things like:
- Any Damage Dealing Bullet/Laser Hitting The Room
- Penetrator Missile Hull Damage
- Ultra Dismantle Damage
Armor and Crew
Armor can block crew from moving into a certain room. Here are a few pictures showing what will work and what won't work to allow crew movement:

What To Armor
Armor placement is an incredibly advanced and hard to learn subject in Pixel Starships. To get you started, here is a list of rooms you NEED to armor:
- Coal Reactor
- Toilet & Medical
- Anti Craft Laser
- Any Weapon Room
- Engine & Fusion Drive Engine

- Fully Upgrading One Armor Block Will Cost 2.95 Million .
- It Will Cost A Grand Total Of 132.75 Million To Max Out Every Armor Block At Level 11.
- Armor Reduction Stacks Additively.
