Extra Crew Rooms are rooms that give you the ability to add more crew onto your ship when the room is placed onboard. These rooms will either cost Starbux or Doves to obtain as the perk they provide is very valuable. All of these rooms (Except for one) are unupgradable and take up a 2x2 space. All these rooms also have the average 300% Innate Armor bonus normal Nonpowered Rooms have.
These rooms are valuable and thus, will be expensive. These rooms are quite literally the only way to get more crew onboard your ship after maxing your level nine ship out. Crew also serve a massive role in the success of your ship in PvP, which is why you see many of these rooms in the top player's builds.
The Dog House was the first ever Extra Crew Room released. It was a reward for the original Kickstarter Campaign for Pixel Starships but it's now obtained by going to www.pixelstarships.com and buying the Fashionably Late (Supporter Pack) for $45.00. It gives you one additional crew member slot. The room is also home to the crew member Doge, which also comes with the Kickstarter pack.

The Cat House was the second Crew Room released in Pixel Starships. It also gives one additional crew slot, but unlike the Dog House, this room can be bought in game.
